In
the Steps of Marc Chagall
 |
Essentially
a trip in the footsteps of the great artist Marc Chagall would
have to start in Witebsk (Whiterussia). It would have to lead
to Berlin, passing St. Petersburg and the vicissitudes of the
October revolution. And the tour should not miss the world known
glass windows of the Hadassah hopsital in Jerusalem. But with
this travel idea we limit the travels to a selection of his
work which still can be seen in France and Switzerland. |
Day 1
Arrival, Sarrebourg
Travelling in a modern private coach the tour first goes to Sarrebourg

the expression of a deep religiosity. Chagall had a high sensitivity
for the questions, joys, and aspirations of people. Through his
works he made religious questions tangible and touched many lives.
