ideal add-on to all motor coach trips featuring Luther
Sites and Bavaria |
|
Exceed your
motor coach trip of Germany for a few days, and enjoy a relaxing
river cruise on the Danube. Whether it is part of a trip to the
Luther Sites in the North, or Bavaria and the Alps in the South,
a cruise along the Danube adds a nice Extra to your trip.

Terra
Lu Travel is in a long cooperation with the family which owns
the MS Rossini. Yes, there might be newer vessels on the river.
However, MS Rossini offers its guests modernised and renovated
cabins with panoramic windows. The new lift makes it easier
to get around. Of course the cabins are air-conditioned and
offer a private bathroom, Sat-TV, and a safe.

And for
sure there is no other boat with a more welcoming atmosphere.
Most members of the ship's crew have a long term relation
with their boat. On every cruise a doctor is part of the crew,
and the cake served for "Kaffeetrinken" in the afternoon
is fresh made by the on-board pastry-chef.
Excursions
are offered by bus, of course, but also bicycles are on hand
for optional use, giving your guests even more possibilities
for tours on their own.
|
 |
Sun chairs
on the deck, a little pool, bar and restaurant assure a relaxing
time. Five meals are served per day, including the Kaffeetrinken
in the afternoon as well as a midnight snack.
Based
on Terra Lu's strong relationship with the ship owners, individual
support of your group is guaranteed. Group leaders, tour directors,
and local guides work in close partnership with the crew.
Each group will be taken care of individually, having their
own staff travelling along.

While MS Rossini
cruises the entire Danube, 7 day cruise from and to Passau are an
ideal and affordable addition to a motor coach trip of Germany.
After embarking
in Passau in the afternoon your group will enjoy an entertaining
evening on board. The next morning is on leisure while the boat
passes by the scenery river front before reaching Bratislava.
A sightseeing bus tour introduces you to the rich history of the
Slovakian capital.
Following the
river, Budapest will be reached in the before noon. The "Paris
of the East" as Budapest is called waits to be explored. After
dinner (on board) there still is some time to enjoy the evening
in one of the many bars and pubs before the ship continues the cruise
at about midnight. A stop at the Danube bend allows a guided
visit of Szentendre, Visegard, and Esztergom.
It's still early
in the morning when MS Rossini reaches Vienna for a full
day stop. After breakfast a sightseeing bus trip is offered
to get a first orientation. While meals are served on board, all
afternoon and the evening are on leisure for own visits of churches
and museums, or to enjoy a piece of Sacher Torte cake in a Coffeehouse.
The Wachau
region and a visit of the wine village Dürnstein complete
the cruise to the highlights of the Danube. A farewell Captain's
Dinner is served at the last night on board. Passau will be reached
in the morning, from where a motor coach may bring your group to
Munich for additional program.
This itinerary
is a sample, based on tours we planned for groups. But no two Terra
Lu tours are the same. Our proposal for you might be different,
depending on time of travel and availability of services.
