Of
course you expect to have a "private motor coach"
when travelling with a group in Germany. Now you can also have
your private river boat for groups of same size like
on a bus tour! Starting from Lutherstadt Wittenberg the river
cruise will take you to towns like Torgau, Meissen, and Dresden
before finally arriving in the center of Prague. With a maximim
capacity of 50 passengers the boat is small enough to give you
an unparalleled experience of flora and fauna along the riverbank.
We land close to town centers (and in the heart of Prague),
always in walking distance to the places to see. |

Sun
chairs are available for everybody on the upper deck, while
the air conditioned salon provides room to meet, chat, and play
cards. Lunch and Kaffeetrinken are served on board, snacks and
beverages are available from the bar. For overnight we walk
from the landing pier to local, private owned hotels nearby,
where the luggage already awaits us in our comfortable, non-rolling

An Elbe river
cruise from Wittenberg to Prague (or in reverse direction) can be

Day 1 Arrival
Berlin
Upon your arrival
at Berlin Airport the group will be met by the Terra Lu tour escort
who will travel with your group for the entire tour. A bus takes
you to Wittenberg, the cradle of the Reformation.
See the town of Martin Luther, and enjoy the churches and museums.
Day 2 - 8
Elbe River Cruise
Starting from Wittenberg we follow the Elbe upstream. We enjoy visiting
towns like Torgau, Riesa, Meissen,
and Dresden before passing through the Elbe
Sandstone Mountains. Decin and Melnik
will be other places to see before we turn right on the Vlatava
river which takes us into the heart of Prague.
Having the entire boat in full charter allows a wide range
of group building program. Fun and games, music and singing,
bible studies and lectures: the group will enjoy the time on their
own boat.
Day 9 Sightseeing
Prague
The Golden City of Prague welcomes us. We visit
the Hradschin castle district, cross Charles Bridges with its many
street musicians, and admire the astronomical clock at the market.
Dinner will be in a cozy restaurant in the old center.
Day 10 to
Erfurt
We change from the boat to our private motor coach and head north
to Erfurt where Martin Luther lived as a monk in the
Augustinian Monastery.
Day 11 Wartburg,
Eisenach
We visit Wartburg castle and the birthhouse of Johann Sebastian
Bach on a day excursion.
Day 12 Berlin
Heading into Berlin in the morning the rest of the day is for sightseeing
in the vibrant German capital.
Day 13 Flight
home
Homebound flight from Berlin, after a boat & bus week in Germany.
This itinerary
